Bio
Born in Edmonton, Alberta with the great interest in playing the accordion, piano, and acoustic guitar at a very young age, later becoming a member of the Kiwanis Choir of Edmonton. As part of the Choir, Amadeus found great satisfaction finding himself among the winners in a festival organized by CFRN Television. After trying his hand at playing the drums and keyboard he was convinced that singing was his passion. At the age of 16, he began his dedication to Italian contemporary music. By singing solely in Italian he has confirmed his desire to keep his family's traditions alive. Amadeus is also a member of S.O.C.A.N., A.R.I.A. and C.A.R.A.S.
In 1989, Amadeus had the honor of meeting the great Julio Iglesias. A year later he also opened for PUPO, (a famous Italian singer from Italy) now known as Enzo Ghinazzi. Amadeus was also part of the Miss Italia Nel Mondo in 1998, and has performed with Italian singers Gianni Briglio and Piero Mazzochetti to name a few. Through the years he has also done with pleasure, countless functions and fundraising benefits for the community.
July 2003, marked the release of his first single Radio Mix and Remix, with the title "Sei Rimasta Nell'Anima" by M. Marasco/ G.Drudi and arranged by the talented Pino Gioia of Italy. In 2003, Amadeus was asked to appear in Toronto, Ontario for several radio interviews including C.H.I.N. radio to promote his first single "Sei Rimasta Nell'Anima". While in Toronto, he performed at an indoor concert at Casa Ricca, and one outdoor concert: which was the famous Woodbridge Festival in Woodbridge, Ontario.
In 2004, Amadeus performed in concert with the Italian singer from Vancouver, Tina Zanotto in Edmonton, Alberta. His First single by this time was put on a compilation disc in Europe, which is being played in radio stations in Italy.
In 2005, Amadeus was invited to do some concerts with Nick Celentano, Tina Zanotto, and Enzo Costa in Western Canada, after this, Amadeus released another single:"L'Emigrante" (by G.Drudi) in which he was surprised, that the Italian community fell in love with this song and gets standing ovations everytime he performs it Live. Amadeus was invited to do a tour of Southern Italy in August/2005 in various cities and the Mediterranean Coast. During his tour Amadeus had the honour of meeting Mino Reitano (a famous italian singer). Upon his return in Canada, Amadeus started working on his new CD titled "Oltre le Nuvole" made of 13 new songs written entirely by himself and his collaborator G.Gioia. This project took about 18 months from start to finish.
In 2007, Amadeus released his new CD throughout Canada and the first track "Amo Te" has been well taken with all the radio stations. January 27/2007 Amadeus did another concert for the 20th anniversary of the Calabria Club of Calgary. The New CD "Oltre le Nuvole" Album is Available at: Ital Records (Toronto,Ont.)
