Biography
Tommy Alvarado was born in Bakersfield, California and raised in the Fillmore area of Ventura County, California. His life is centered on his music, he is highly regarded by both fellow musicians and music fans as a vocalist, saxophonist, and percussionist.
Over the ensuing years, Tommy has proved himself to be a multi-talented asset on any tour, or stage. This places him in the much-deserved limelight, especially while recently touring with Joe Cocker as well as Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.
Tommy has made live appearances with a veritable “Who’s Who” of pop and R&B music including Barry White, The Temptations, The Spinners, The Four Tops, Pauline Wilson, Chubby Checker, Eddie Kendricks, Mary Wells, and many others. He's performed at Madison Square Garden, The Forum, The Greek Theatre, Universal Amphitheater, Hollywood Bowl, Irvine Meadows, Red Rocks, Catalina Jazz Festival, and Foxwoods Casino.
Currently, Tommy makes his home in Las Vegas, Nevada and is a frequent performer on the scene. He's talent is much in demand at the top entertainment casinos of the world, like the Bellagio, Venetian, Bally's, Caesar 's Palace, Desert Inn, MGM Grand, New York-New York, the Rio or at countless other venues on The Strip.
Tommy is a versatile, consummate musician and vocalist, who enjoys performing, no matter the occasion or what the venue. But his love for music goes much deeper: Tommy is also a talented composer and arranger, and takes great pride in his recording and studio work on singles, albums and commercials.
Tommy's first solo album is all about love-feeling it, having it, keeping it or losing it.
